2022 MBC Gayo Special Stage Lineup: Stray Kids, NCT Taeil, (G)I-DLE Miyeon, More

On December 20, the 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon (hereinafter MBC Music Festival) unveiled the lineup of its special stage.

Aside from the artist lineup announced earlier, the festival also revealed the sets of idols who will set the stage ablaze with their special collaboration performances. 

Moonbin & Sanha (ASTRO), Yoo Taeyang (SF9), and Kim Yohan (Wei) will unite to become "heart stealers" with their performance of the song, "Last Love."

Next, NCT's "Vocal Powerhouse" Taeil & Haechan herald collaboration with Younha, currently the main character of the reverse driving craze with her song, "Event Horizon."

The idols who boast unique vocals will combine synergy with the female soloist to present not only beautiful voices but emotions that will meet refreshing harmony, leaving fans with an unforgettable impression about the unit.

3rd-gen girl group representative visuals and (G)I-DLE's main vocalist Miyeon prepares a "reverse driving song" with singer-songwriter Lee Mujin. They are expected to present an ear-pleasing stage that will touch everyone's heart.

Aside from song collaboration, K-pop groups Stray Kids and IVE will introduce special units that will raise the energy of event-goers more.

Stray Kids will especially showcase a dance unit "DANCERACHA" comprised of Lee Know x Hyunjin x Felix. They are expected to deliver a powerful performance. Their setlist is yet to be announced.

Popular girl group IVE will also launch a special unit called Dolls with Jang Wonyoung and Leeseo expected to perform a chemistry explosion stage.

A reliable combination has been predicted, and the excitement engine is already starting.

Meanwhile, the 2022 MBC Music Festival will air at 8:40 p.m. KST on December 31st (Sunday) via various sns platforms.

This is an annual special festival where top artists from all generations gather and harmonize with music under the theme of, "With Love."

Earlier, the 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon announced the grand integration of the entire nation as well as the K-POP fandom by establishing a super-special lineup of vocalists Sumi Jo, Yoon Jon Shin, and Jaurim.

On top of that, the festival will be enriched by preparing a collaboration stage into a special unit stage that everyone can enjoy together.

As MCs, Lee Junho and Lim YoonA, who captivated viewers' eyes and ears with their fascinating performances last year, will be once again joining the festival this 2022. Together with them, Jang Sung Kyu will return as the show's MC, attracting interest in the MCs' perfect chemistry.
