IVE Wonyoung and Leeseo were the subject of discussion on an online community forum.
They were slammed due to their special performance of IU's "Strawberry Moon" on 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon. Wonyoung and Leeseo were criticized for "lip-syncing" without dancing, and using the same audio file as their previous rendition of the song.

"What in the world? There are so many singers who want to perform on stage, so give those opportunities to those singers instead. Why even perform on such stage? This isn't some school art festival. They are pros but are sitting down while lip syncing."

IVE Earns Flak for 'Lip-Synching' on Previous Performance at University Festival
In other news, all IVE members were criticized on a university festival performance for "lip-synching."
IVE performed at the University of Semyung's music festival on September 21. The girl group gave live stages with their hit releases "LOVE DIVE," "ELEVEN," and "After LIKE."

However, one netizen pointed out that only member and leader Ahn Yujin was performing live. The netizen added how the other IVE members were lip-synching the whole time.
Fans theorized that the members actually sang live, but their microphone couldn't pick up their voices well enough. Others defended IVE by pointing out that many idols lip sync these days for festivals or concerts.
