BTS, BLACKPINK Join 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominees

BTS and BLACKPINK are nominated for 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards! The two groups stood out on various categories, alongside popular international artists.

BTS, BLACKPINK Nominated for 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards

On January 11, multiple nominations for 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards went to K-pop groups, BTS and BLACKPINK.

The event announced their full list of nominees consisting of popular artists such as Bruno Mars, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, and many more.

In the list, BTS snagged several nominations for the event. Starting with the "Best Music Video" category, the group earned the place with title track "Yet To Come."

Additionally, BTS' youngest member Jungkook, earned a solo nomination in association with Charlie Puth's track, "Left and Right."

Not only did BTS themselves gain nominations, but ARMYs did too, making their spot on the category, "Best Fan Army."

BLACKPINK also made it on the list of nominees. The girl group is up for four separate awards, including Best Duo/Group of the Year and three popular vote categories, including "Favorite Use of a Sample," "Best Music Video," and "Best Female Artist."

On the "Favorite Use of a Sample" category, the place went to BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" which sampled songs such as 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P," Rihanna's "Pon de Replay," and Biggie's "Kick In The Door."

For "Best Music Video" category, BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" joins the list.

Their fandom, BLINKs, were also nominated on "Best Fan Army."

BTS Wins Two Trophies at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards

In other news, BTS won two prizes at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

On March 22, the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The award ceremony was streamed on Fox, together with the show's official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

BTS won trophies for two of the three categories at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards. For their three-year streak, they won "Best Music Video," with "Butter."

Furthermore, the group also won "Best Fan Army" for the fifth time.

On March 23, iHeartRadio posted BTS' acceptance speech. In the video, BTS thanked the awards show and everyone who supported them.

"Your love and support brought us these awards, and it means everything to us that we have ARMY."

"Thank you for loving 'Butter' and our music."

"We have always been together, and ARMY you are always amazing."

On a previous note, BTS and BLACKPINK were also nominated in the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Both K-pop acts have received lots of recognition after being nominated, and it shows that the artists have completely captured the attention of the world's largest music market.
