CIX Cancels "Save me, Kill me" Concert In Mexico

Last March 12, the Mexico show of K-pop boy band CIX's ongoing "Save Me, Kill Me" world tour was cancelled. The announcement was made on the official Twitter account of the tour operator MyMusicTaste.

MyMusicTaste indicated that the cancellation is due to "organizers' internal concerns", and said that the decision was made after "additional internal debate".

In addition, MyMusicTaste advised those who bought tickets to get in touch with their "respecting ticketing vendor[s] for further assistance" for a refund process.

On the North American part of CIX's "Save Me, Kill Me" world tour, Monterrey, Mexico, was meant to be the last stop.

But due to its cancellation, CIX just performed over the weekend in New York, New York, and Reading, Pennsylvania.

CIX will perform at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Washington, D.C., on March 14. The boyband also has gigs scheduled for Texas, California, and other locations throughout the course of the coming month.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster for CIX's "Save Me, Kill Me" world tour.

CIx is also expected to perform in Monterey, Hyogo, Tokyo and Bangkok this month. "Save Me, Kill Me" is the second world tour by CIX after "CIX 1st Concert REBEL in the U.S.'' last 2022.

After two years and nine months since their debut, CIX performed live in South Korea before traveling to the US.

About CIX And Their World Tour

CIX is a five-member boy group under C9 Entertainment.  "CIX" is an acronym for "Complete in X" (complete in unknown).

"Save Me, Kill Me" world tour was announced last November 2022 and started to kick off from Seoul, South Korea

The boy group debuted last July 23, 2019, when they dropped their first EP called "Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger."

Regardless of being a rookie, CIX sold an incredible 37,898 copies of their debut album on the Hanteo Chart in just the first week despite being a rookie act.

It was the debut album by K-pop groups' fourth-highest first-week sales total in August of 2019 .

One of the fastest K-pop artists to win on a music program was CIX, who won their first-ever music show trophy with "Movie Star" on the July 30 edition of "The Show" in that same year.
