On the list, four K-pop artists made it with their respective hit tracks. NewJeans' "OMG" was the first song mentioned on the list, where it was praised for its notable trap snare instrumental, and its harmonization from the members. Since NewJeans is known for dropping refreshing music, this led "OMG" to catch the attention of worldwide audiences.

"This bubbly and giddy single from NewJeans makes use of jittery trap snares, and heavenly harmonies to represent love's first blush," Rolling Stone stated. "'OMG' is a throwback to the golden phase of '90s R&B, mixed with an appeal from the 21st century.

Rolling Stone stated, "Jimin's track pays close homage to classic R&B due to it being dreamlike, slick, and soulful. The singer traverses through marble-smooth synths and drums inspired from the '80s."

"Jisoo's 'FLOWER' consists of a staccato, Latin-inspired melody, and percussion from Caribbean pieces." Rolling Stone remarked. "Staying genuine to its name, Jisoo's vocals bloom fully, with her breathy parts transforming into a superb falsetto during the song's chorus."
