The 18-year-old singer grabbed people's attention after a web user posted an article, titled, "The status of Jang Wonyoung who gained 5kg."

Along with the post, the author also included a comparison of the photos from when she looked skinny versus her recent look.

The photo particularly showed Jang Wonyoung's physique during the "LOVE DIVE" and "After LIKE" era, which took place last year, and compared it to her latest photoshoot at an event.

In 2022, Jang Wonyoung amassed criticism and worries from DIVEs for looking skinny, to the point that her ribs, arms, and legs were noticeable whenever she performed.

Back then, her fans expressed their concern.

According to reports, the star gained 5kg and her supporters, especially DIVEs (IVE fandom), are showing rave reviews about it.

In particular, her weight gain became apparent after she attended a recent jewelry event. She drew attention by appearing with her "best" appearance yet, not to mention that she also looked healthier.

In her photos, Jang Wonyoung showcased a healthier figure with slightly raised cheeks. Her arms and legs emphasized decent fat, not bones.

Somehow, Jang Wonyoung's recent appearance in an all-white outfit with neatly-tied hair reminded people of when she was still actively promoting IZ*ONE. During her years with the initial group, the idol boasted her cute cheeks with baby fats reminiscent of a bunny.

However, as she re-debuted in IVE, Jang's visuals and physique also developed and boasted mature beauty.
