10 K-pop Artists Reigning June's Brand Reputation Rankings: BTS, Lim Young Woong, More!
The month of June contained new bops from our favorite artists, as well as their activities, appearances, concerts, and many more.
Determining popularity in K-pop is no joke, and for June, the Korean Business Research Institute has announced their newest brand reputation rankings, covering all singers in the music industry.
According to their output, the data determined from the singers was covered from May 24 to June 24. The results were derived from aspects such as the participation of consumers, media coverage, interaction, and awareness.
Here are 10 most popular K-pop artists for June 2023!
1. BTS
BTS claimed the first place with a brand reputation index of 11,654,085 due to an amazing score increase of 43.06 percent.
2. Lim Young Woong
Lim Young Woong made it on the list's No. 2 spot with a 6.77 percent score increasing, leading to a brand reputation index of 9,976,043.
3. NewJeans
NewJeans managed to garner a total of 5,062,002 for their June brand reputation index, and also joining the top 3. They also gained buzz for their comeback announcements, which trended online.
4. BLACKPINK
On the fourth place, BLACKPINK reigned on the position with a brand reputation index of 4,777,910.
5. Kang Daniel
Kang Daniel successfully rounded the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,752,487, and an tremendous score increase of 231.16 percent.
6. aespa
As for aespa, the quartet secured the sixth place with a brand reputation index of 4,748,279.
7. PSY
Legendary showman PSY made it on the No. 7 spot, where he earned a brand reputation index of 4,581,750. PSY is known for giving his best during his live stages, his songs, and many more. With his inclusion for June 2023, it shows that he's still on fire!
8. IVE
IVE entered on the eighth place with a total of 4,243,361 for their June brand reputation index, highlighting their skyrocketing popularity.
9. Lee Chan Won
Lee Chan Won managed to secure the No. 9 spot because of his brand reputation index of 4,208,716.
10. SEVENTEEN
Lastly, third-gen boy group representative SEVENTEEN completed the top ten by garnering a brand reputation index of 4,099,696.
