In a swift response to the dating allegations surrounding celebrated singer Lim Young Woong, his agency has issued a statement denying any romantic involvement with former SISTAR member Soyou.

Intimate Photo Sparks Speculation of a Secret Relationship

On July 10, Wikitree reported claims of a romantic relationship between the two stars, based on a photograph taken at a restaurant in Jeju-do.

Allegedly, an individual associated with a well-known BBQ establishment in Jeju-do uploaded two pictures, one featuring Lim Young Woong and the other with Soyou, both taken on the same day.

According to the report, when fans inquired if the stars were together, the individual promptly removed the photo containing Soyou. This action raised suspicions among fans, leading some to question why the person felt compelled to alter their statement if there was no truth to the dating rumors.

The informant, quoted in the article, asserts that the two had been spotted together previously, although no concrete evidence was available at the time.

However, the informant now claims that the recently surfaced photos indicate there may be more substance to the speculations.

When approached for comment regarding the allegations, Lim Young Woong's agency swiftly dismissed them, categorically stating that the rumors were "Absolutely not true." Soyou's agency similarly refuted the dating claims.

Soyou recently visited Jeju-do for filming purposes, and her visit to the same location may have coincided with Lim Young Woong's presence. However, both agencies maintain that there is no romantic relationship between the two artists.

Lim Young Woong, widely regarded as the highest-grossing solo artist in Korea, has made a name for himself in the ballad and trot genres, consistently outperforming even the most prominent idols. Soyou, who initially debuted as part of SISTAR, has since embarked on a successful solo career and also expanded her horizons as a TV personality.
