NCT DREAM's 'ISTJ' Exceeds 2 Million Copies in Hanteo + Becomes 5th K-pop Artist to Achieve Feat
NCT DREAM has made another amazing peak in the music charts.
On July 20, NCT DREAM's third full-length album "ISTJ" has sold a figure of 2,194,117 album copies. The album "ISTJ" and its title track of the same name were both released on July 17, at 6 p.m. KST, which means the album has achieved this feat in less than four days.
This feat also made NCT DREAM as the only fifth K-pop artist to sell over 2 million album copies in Hanteo first-week sales.

NCT DREAM now follows fellow K-pop groups who managed to achieve over 2 million copies in first-week sales such as BTS, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, and TXT. The group is also marked as the first SM Entertainment artist to accomplish the milestone.
Meanwhile, NCT DREAM also achieved a separate feat ahead of schedule, making headlines with their stock pre-orders.

On July 12, NCT DREAM's agency SM Entertainment revealed that the group's album "ISTJ" had exceeded 4.1 million stock pre-orders.
This figure didn't just become the group's highest pre-order record in their own career, but also set a third-highest record among any album stock pre-orders of all time. The other two albums who managed to accomplish this are "FML" by SEVENTEEN and "★★★★★ (5-STAR)" by Stray Kids.
Stock pre-order numbers are the amount of album stock that is formed before its official drop. Its figure is computed based off on numerous factors, such as on how high the pre-order demands are from fans.
On YouTube, NCT DREAM's title track "ISTJ" currently garners a total of 38,701,239 views as of July 21. The track was released on July 17 and has garnered the attention of NCTzens.
