NewJeans Hyein Receives Praise from IU in Variety Show + Bunnies React to Her Performance

The idol in question is none other than NewJeans' maknae Hyein!

On July 23, the highly anticipated episode of "IU's Palette" has officially been uploaded on YouTube, gaining attention online. The new episode, featuring IU as the host, guested the trending K-pop girl group NewJeans for the first time.

There, NewJeans and IU engaged on different topics as the episode progressed, discussing various subjects such as their "Get Up" album preparations, tracks, and choreography. The artists also connected with discussions about selfie angles, age difference and many more.

"IU's Palette" is also known for containing a live performance segment, where artists sing their respective songs. On this part, NewJeans sang a medley from their "Get Up" album, performing tracks "New Jeans," "Super Shy," "ETA," "Cool With You," and "Get Up."

However, in "Get Up" that was performed by Hyein, IU was seen to be entranced with the maknae's sweet vocals and mesmerizing performance. This was followed by the soloist's compliment stating, "That was so good."

IU's expression to Hyein's singing immediately went viral on a forum, where Bunnies expressed the same reaction to the live performance. Since "Get Up" contained a slow tempo sequence and atmospheric sound, it also matched Hyein's voice color.
