aespa Receives Gold Certifications for 'Black Mamba,' 'Next Level'
Meanwhile, aespa has received two gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for their debut song "Black Mamba" and first comeback "Next Level," which both exceeded over 50 million streams.
The RIAJ infused a new system regarding music certifications in 2020, which involves online streaming. To add to its already existing certification system for both physical album shipments and digital download sales, RIAJ implemented that silver certifications are earned once songs attain 30 million streams, followed by gold at 50 million, and platinum at 100 million.
