ITZY's 'KILL MY DOUBT' Breaks Group's Personal Record in First-Day Sales + Dominates on iTunes Worldwide
ITZY is starting great with their newest album!
On July 31, at 6 p.m. KST, ITZY released their much-awaited comeback with seventh mini album "KILL MY DOUBT" and its title track "CAKE."
According to Hanteo Chart, "KILL MY DOUBT" managed to sell a total of 318,352 album copies on its first day. This achievement led ITZY to break their own personal first-day sales record of 275,189 copies, attained by their previous and sixth mini album "CHESHIRE" in 2022.
When "KILL MY DOUBT" was released on July 31, it also made waves on the iTunes charts. The album had secured the No. 1 spot in iTunes Top Album charts, spanning across at least 14 separate regions around the world. This includes Brazil, Australia, Vietnam, and many more, highlighting ITZY's increasing impact worldwide.

Meanwhile, ITZY also sat down in their showcase for "KILL MY DOUBT," where they expressed their love for MIDZYs and shared insights from the album.
"'KILL MY DOUBT' is an album that we have prepared so vigorously. In order to return the love our fans gave us, we also prepared so much for our showcase. I hope you will like it lots."
Chaeryoung then explained:
"The album's visual concept is similar to a boxer who advances in the ring and will break through his own fears by moving forward as a better version of himself."
ITZY Offers Sweet Piece of 'CAKE' in Vibrant Music Video
On July 31, the official music video for "CAKE" finally dropped, much to the excitement of MIDZYs. With the song's "Cake" chant and sweetly flavored chorus, the song is also accompanied by a memorable choreography that's perfect for dance challenges.
