Somi has once again replied to a fan in social media.

The singer had just arrived with a new comeback with her first mini album "Game Plan" and its title track "Fast Forward," which were released on August 7. Due to her highly anticipated return, Somi became active nowadays with her promotions and activities.

To increase the music's spread and interact with her fans, Somi gave everyone a chance to experience the album by hosting a listening party through Stationhead.

The singer then saw a fan's comment, pleading her not to go to a hiatus again. It also added that if she did, protest trucks would be sent, to which Somi initially agreed jokingly.

"Somi please don't go on hiatus too long again or (we) will send protest trucks." Somi reiterated. "That might work, please do."

On TikTok, user @somiiiyah uploaded the snippet, earning the attention of fans. It also mentioned that Somi's comeback count and promotions should be improved, before calling the attention of the idol's agency THEBLACKLABEL.

It captioned, "Somi needs more than one comeback and better promotion. TBL (THEBLACKLABEL) hear us!"

However, the post went viral to the point of not just gaining fans' interest, but also Somi herself! At first, Somi dropped a heart emoji on the comments section.

But fans were shocked to see Somi's follow up comment clarifying that her protest truck remark was just a joke. The idol also added how sending protest trucks won't be necessary since it's not as effective as it looks.

Somi replied to the fan's post:

"This was a joke! My voice and this clip makes it serious bro. Don't send trucks! It's not going to happen or work!"

Fans conveyed their shock on Somi's comment, despite knowing that she's always been candid about her thoughts and how casual she is in social media. Others pointed out how funny it was seeing her "panic" with her comment.
