IVE Liz Stuns in Airport Photos Due to New Hair Color

On August 17, the "4th-gen representative group" IVE left for Los Angeles through Incheon International Airport to attend "KCON LA 2023."

The three-day event will be held starting on the 18th to the 20th, and on Day 1, the girl group IVE will perform, along with SHINee Taemin, NCT Taeyong, WayV, MONSTA X unit Shownu x Hyungwon, CRAVITY, and NMIXX.

Before their departure, IVE took their time to attend a mini photo op with the Korean journalists and DIVEs (IVE fandom), beautifully posing before the cameras as they sport their airport 'fits.

While the members of IVE were all praised for their beauty, there is a member who stood out on that day - and it was none other than Liz!

Prior to leaving South Korea, the members' photos were being uploaded real-time on various social media platforms and articles. Liz's pictures immediately circulated among online communities and K-netz showered the singer with love and admiration for her striking beauty.

While Liz has always been a visual since Day 1 of their debut, netizens initially raised their brows for her weight and changing her hair color to black. According to them, black hair made her look ordinary. Liz was also severely body-shamed in the past.

However, after going back to being blonde and losing some weight, people's reactions turned 360° and are now loving the idol's appearance.

Upon seeing her photos, she became a hot topic on SNS and online forums, with fans leaving comments such as:

Amid praises Liz is receiving for her "upgraded" look, a debate ignited among online users after some commented that the idol should instead become the center and visual of the group.

These roles are filled in by Jang Wonyoung, who is dubbed as one of the prettiest idols in the fourth-generation era.

According to K-netz, Liz is prettier than her co-04-liner member.

• "Now, Liz is the prettiest."
• "If you look at every detail of her features, she's definitely the prettiest in their team."
• "She's the prettiest and most talented in the group, she should be the center."

Seeing this, Jang Wonyoung's fans asked other DIVEs to refrain from disrespecting the idol.

• "There is Jang Wonyoung, so why should Liz be in Tier 1?"
• "She's definitely in Tier 2 when Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin are in the same group."
