Artist Lee Seok Hoon, who is a member of SG Wannabe, lost his mother to an illness.

Currently serving his military duties, Lee Seok Hoon posted on his social network service on June 14, "My dear mother whom I loved has gone to heaven. I hope that she will be free from all pain and be able to enjoy a good rest up there. I would like to ask for your prayer. Even for a brief moment, please send up a prayer for my mother."

It has been reported that Lee Seok Hoon's mother has dealt with extended periods of chemotherapy against cancer and was in serious health conditions for some time. Her funeral will be held at a hospital in Incheon somewhere near her home.

Entering active military service in January, Lee Seok Hoon has been serving the country for several months now.
