Recently, Jang Dong Gun, Girls' Generation Jessica and Kim Nam Gil received some sad news as they lost a legal battle.

The chief prosecutor attorney of Seoul Central District informed the public and the media that the legal case filed against Mr. Kim, the director of an ophthalmic clinic was being dismissed. Mr. Kim was sued for using the pictures of Jang Dong Gun, Girls' Generation's Jessica and Kim Nam Gil on promoting their clinic without the consent or knowledge of the parties.

The chief prosecutor stated "Director Kim didn't use the pictures himself, but it was done by someone else."  He said there was no evidence to support the said allegation.

UAM agency who is responsible for the case stated 'We will definitely make an appeal, regarding the portrait rights.  It's a legal issue so we can't make a comment."

On the side of the celebrities' agencies, they've also sued the director on January 2013 and ask for 160 million Won damage. They stated "The main objective of using pictures on portal sites is to advertise the clinic."
