It's a common occurrence for many people to join the K-pop industry and become idols after becoming inspired by their faves. Since there are numerous idols in K-pop who are indeed role models, this isn't an unusual thing.
One example of a fangirl turned idol is NewJeans' youngest member Hyein. In the past, before she became an idol, Hyein was already exposed to the variety field. The "Super Shy" singer was known to be in the kids entertainment program "Play With Me Club" and has earned the hearts of many.

On August 23, a video of Hyein resurfaced online, which caught the attention of netizens. In a forum, the author uploaded a video compilation of Hyein fangirling over Jin of BTS.
In the first clip, Hyein was asked which action would make her happier. These choices include meeting Jin in person, or becoming BLACKPINK's fifth member, only ending up choosing the former.
Her colleagues also chose the first option, leading Hyein to comment, "Wow, you guys got it right, as expected."
The second clip also showed the maknae being able to recognize the BTS member just by his lips alone, before confessing how much she admires him and letting out a fangirl scream!

The video also showed Hyein expressing her compliments to Jin's captivating visuals and choosing him over a long list of idols.

Meanwhile, back in the forum, netizens expressed how adorable Hyein in her pre-debut days was, especially when she's also a fangirl of the biggest boy group in the world. Netizens were also stated how much of a successful fan Hyein is, given how they're both under HYBE.
