'Unanswered Questions' Threatened by Whistleblower With New Allegations on Alleged Biased Reporting

New information regarding "Unanswered Questions" has come to light.

FIFTY FIFTY is one of the most notable fourth-gen K-pop rookies to ever debut in 2022. The quartet would then make their breakthrough success in 2023 with their viral song "Cupid," which earned them immense domestic and international recognition.

However, the group faced legal obstacles through legal disputes with their company ATTRAKT, as well as concerns regarding the copyright claims of "Cupid," transparency for settlements, and medical negligence.

These disputes eventually led to a potential mediation process, but eventually fell through since both parties failed to reach an agreement. On August 17, FIFTY FIFTY members filed criminal charges against ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon for breach of trust.

The K-pop community saw a light on the tunnel when it was reported that SBS's investigative show "Unanswered Questions" would place in the missing pieces and untold stories of the case. However, the show quickly caught backlash from netizens, who claimed the program as "biased."

On August 25, a self-alleged industry insider's online post went viral in the K-pop community. According to the insider, it claimed that they had been interviewed as part of FIFTY FIFTY's episode but was completely taken out of the picture and edited out.

The insider stated:

"I am the one who was interviewed in 'Unanswered Questions' but was edited out. I'm the person who was mentioned on the YouTube channel of Lee Jin Ho."

Sources state the insider claimed that a tampering law proposal was sent to the Ministry of Culture. For additional context, tampering is the illegal act of intervening or influencing with the aim of making unauthorized changes.

It warned that if "Unanswered Questions" fails to give a detailed explanation of numerous allegations on FIFTY FIFTY's episode, the insider would speak out publicly. It declared:

"I'm the person who sent a proposal for anti-tampering law for K-pop to the Ministry of Culture last July. I was interviewed by 'Unanswered Questions' for one hour and a half.

I am completely aware that 'Unanswered Questions' is prepping for their official statement. If their explanation is unable to satisfy, I will make the decision to speak out.

A national petition for anti-tampering law is being prepared, and I will expose everything about the interview that transpired on 'Unanswered Questions' across numerous online communities."

To prove the association with "Unanswered Questions," it was also revealed the insider had shared a business card from a producer under the show.
