On September 7, a forum was established online, where an author uploaded several pictures of BTS's youngest member Jungkook apparently smoking at an open space. The photos featured Jungkook holding a cigarette while chatting with a few people.

The author also captioned, "I somehow felt like he'd be a smoker."

Smoking is a popular topic in K-pop, since the specific action of doing it can affect an idol's image to the public, thus, leading to criticism and backlash.

However, this wasn't the case for ARMYs (BTS's fandom), as they've been supportive of whatever Jungkook does in his daily life. The photos were followed by numerous comments stating they don't have to "feed the trolls," demonstrating their fortitude as a fanbase.
