The Korean Business Research Institute has officially revealed its brand reputation rankings for September 2023, which now involves K-pop boy group members. While male groups tend to gain attention collectively, individual idols' popularity is also being measured.
According to the list, the institute has covered data from August 16 to September 16. These results were derived from numerous factors such as analyzing the participation of consumers, coverage within the media, and overall exposure that can lead to buzz.

1. BTS Jungkook
BTS's youngest member Jungkook reigned the list at No. 1, marking the idol's third consecutive month in dominating brand rankings for male idols. According to the list, Jungkook managed to garner a brand reputation index of 4,322,719.
As for this positivity-negativity analysis, Jungkook also gained 87.42 positive reactions, highlighting his good feedback to the general public.
2. BTS V
Kim Taehyung, also known as V, garnered a brand reputation index of 4,247.789 and an 8.67 percent score rise. This September, V gained attention for releasing his debut mini album "Layover" on September 8, along with the title track "Slow Dancing."
3. Former Wanna One Kang Daniel
For the month of September, former Wanna One member Kang Daniel secured No. 3 on the list with a brand reputation index of 3,440,712. The idol also generated buzz for his return to the dance competition show "Street Woman Fighter" in its second season.
4. BTS Jimin
Jimin of BTS secured the No. 4 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,140,089. The idol has been active in his social media updates and other solo activities.
5. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
