The highly anticipated 2023 "FLAME RISES" tour by the K-Pop sensation LE SSERAFIM faces a serious setback.

Just ahead of their Bangkok tour leg, three of the group's members, Chaewon, Yunjin, and Kazuha, were struck down by an unexpected illness.

SOURCE MUSIC, the management company of LE SSERAFIM, delivered the disheartening news through a multi-language announcement on Weverse, leaving fans around the world in a state of shock.

The statement from SOURCE MUSIC reads as follows:

"Hello.
This is SOURCE MUSIC.

We regret to inform you that the 2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘FLAME RISES’ IN BANGKOK scheduled for Saturday, October 7, and Sunday, October 8, has been canceled.

On October 6 (GMT), KIM CHAEWON, HUH YUNJIN, and KAZUHA of LE SSERAFIM visited the hospital due to a sudden fever and headaches.

After medical evaluation, they were diagnosed with Type A Influenza. Those affected by the virus are currently in self-quarantine and under medical supervision."

This abrupt cancellation has left fans concerned not only for the wellbeing of their beloved artists but also for the fate of the tour itself.

SOURCE MUSIC, in their announcement, cited the artists' health and the advice of medical professionals as the reasons behind the decision.

"Considering the artists’ health and following the guidance of medical professionals, our company has regrettably decided that it is not feasible to proceed with the 2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘FLAME RISES’ IN BANGKOK, leading to its cancellation.

We extend our heartfelt apologies to the fans who had eagerly anticipated the show, and we kindly request your understanding in this matter.

Refund information for purchased tickets will be provided via BEX’s social media channel. We will continue to place the highest priority on the health and safety of our artists and strive to ensure that all the members of LE SSERAFIM can meet their fans in full health. Thank you."
