Haein is a member of the K-pop girl group LABOUM. On August 28, 2014, LABOUM debuted with their first single album "Petit Macaron" under Global H.
LABOUM was originally a six-membered group, with Haein, Yujeong, Soyeon, Jinyea, Solbin, and Yulhee having joined the lineup. However, on November 3, 2017, member Yulhee left the group after a thorough discussion regarding her exclusive contract expiration.
In 2017, Haein participated in "The Unit," an idol rebooting show aired by KBS 2TV. The show featured numerous debuted idols, who competed for recognition and spotlight. However, Haein wasn't able to make the cut as she placed 26th in the program's semi-finals.

In 2022, Haein joined another survival show titled "GIRL'S RE: VERSE." This program differed from her previous participations, as this was a virtual survival show.
Haein participated in the program, but in the fourth round, she was eliminated after placing at No. 11. Nevertheless, Haein kept pushing forward to continue her passion and expand her career.
On January 16, Haein signed an exclusive contract with agency RND Company.
"Haein has signed an exclusive contract with our company, and with her diverse charms as a LABOUM member, we plan to support her in her endeavors in various fields. Please give her lots of support and attention."
On April 24, an official from Mnet confirmed that Haein would be joining the final lineup of "Queendom Puzzle," the newest survival show that created project girl group EL7Z UP. The anticipation for the show grew when Lee Chaeyeon was confirmed to participate.
However, on May 18, Korean news outlets reported that Haein and Chaeyeon had stepped down from the program. The news led many netizens to speculate reasons for the withdrawal.
While many say that Chaeyeon left because of her viral "KNOCK" track became successful, most people in the K-pop community were left in the dark with Haein's case.
That is until on October 7, when the silence was broken by RND Company with an official statement announcing Haein's marriage, followed by the idol's handwritten letter containing her pregnancy news.
How is Haein Doing Now? Current Status of Idol After Chapter-Defining Announcement
On November 3, RND Company shared the happy news of Haein's marriage date and location. According to their announcement, Haein would be tying the knot with her non-celebrity fiancé on November 26. The marriage would also be held at a private venue in Gyeonggi Province.
"It's true that Haein will hold her wedding ceremony on November 11 in a private location in Gyeonggi-do," the agency stated.
