Jennie & WOODZ Exude Crazy Rich BFFs Aura in Recent Clip, Photos — What's Their Relationship?

On November 23, the popular fashion magazine W Korea held its campaign event, "Love Your W," to promote breast cancer awareness, along with star-studded lineup of artists.

The program was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno, Seoul and became a hot topic for bringing in the brightest stars together, including BTS RM, BLACKPINK Jennie, aespa Karina, Sunmi, GOT7 BamBam, and many more.

On December 4, W Korea released unseen footage from the event taken by the magazine, including all of the artists who participated in the campaign.

However, among them, a 1-second moment featuring BLACKPINK Jennie and a male idol received an explosive response — and it is together with none other than WOODZ!

In the clip and screen-captures, Jennie stood comfortably next to Cho Seungyoun (WOODZ). Holding a drink, the male idol also looked at the stage and flaunted a handsome and dashing look.

As Jennie is known for her unrivaled elegance and expensive aura, it is interesting to see another man matching her vibe, and people then labeled them as "Crazy Rich BFFs."

For those who aren't familiar with WOODZ, he is a UNIQ member who first debuted in 2014 and later became X1 in 2019.

Prior to his idol career, he trained under YG Entertainment along with Jennie.

Before that, they were also said to be elementary school friends when they attended Seoul Cheongdam Elementary School.

Since then, fans had been closely looking at the 96-liners friendship, as the besties would often recommend and promote each other's content, such as when Jennie supported WOODZ when he released his fourth solo mini-album, "Colorful Trauma," in May 2022.

In October 2023, they once again showed their closeness after Jennie revealed that she went to WOODZ's "OO-LI World Tour' concert in Seoul despite her busy schedule to shower his long-time friend love and cheer.

Fans Urge Collab Between Jennie & WOODZ

Going back to their two-shot, fans, MOODZ (WOODZ fandom) and BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) both agreed that their chemistry together will be a waste if they do not have a collaboration anytime soon! 

Fans implied that both are "all-rounders" who can dance, sing, and rap and with WOODZ's excellence in making music, seeing them on one stage will surely become a huge hit!

Since both are also famous for being besties, their respective fandoms won't have to worry about them being embroiled in a dating rumor once they start working together on a music project.

On the flip side, fans pointed out that their "Crazy Rich BFF" atmosphere would make them fit for a drama or series with high-teen and expensive characters like in "Gossip Girl."
