Among 25 K-pop male artists, THIS iconic group remains undefeated with the most audiences from fan meetings/concerts in Japan in history!

On December 14, the top 25 list of K-pop male artists with the highest cumulative number of fan meetings/concertgoers in Japan circulated on SNS and online communities.

The ranking is comprised the years the idols were active, the number of shows that they did in the country, and the cumulative number of fans who attended their events.

TVXQ Proves 'Emperor of K-pop' Status After Being #1 Male Artist with Most Attendees in Japan

Based on a list posted on theqoo, TVXQ, also known as "Emperor of K-pop," is the undefeated artist with a total of 6.75 million viewers accumulated from the 273 shows they did in the foreign country.

They have been active in Japan from 2006 to the present year. Seventeen years have passed then, but their popularity is still untouchable!

From February to July 2023, TVXQ had a total of 20 concerts under their "Classyc: Live Tour," their 12th Japanese tour.

This coming December 30 and 31, the duo is then set to continue their performance in South Korea this time to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary under the theme, "20&2."

Even if BIGBANG haven't visited Japan as a group in many years, they are still standing proud at the second spot!

Having 177 Japan shows, the hereinafter quintet amassed 5.9 million spectators from the time they were active since 2008 till now.

Indeed, they are truly the "Kings of K-pop"!

Will there be kings without the "Princes" beside them? Of course, SHINee also entered the rankings and sat down at No. 3!

With 158 shows from 2010 to 2023, the quintet was able to meet 2.4 million audiences.

Currently, the quartet is doing their large-scale concert, "SHINee World VI: Perfect Illumination," which kicked off in South Korea in June.

In September, they also met fans in Japan and are set to have two more performances in the country in February 2024.

HYBE's boy groups SEVENTEEN and BTS then completed the top 5 as the fourth and fifth place with 1.8M (77 shows) and 1.6M audiences (73 shows), respectively.

The former became active in Japan in 2016, while the latter was active starting in 2014.
