Ahead of their wedding in May 2024, THIS female idol shares a marriage proposal video from her fiancé along with the male star's heartfelt letter to her.
On December 26, four-year idol couple Thunder and Mimi, made K-pop fans' hearts flutter after revealing their proposal video!
On Instagram, the ex-MBLAQ member once again professed his love and asked for the former gugudan member's hand in a romantic dinner surprise.
Former gugudan Mimi Receives Another Surprise Proposal From Fiancé Thunder
Mimi and Thunder shared their first Christmas overseas trip in Japan, four years after becoming a couple.
In the female idol's post, she shared their struggles due to a delayed flight and going to the wrong terminal, then praised her soon-to-be-husband for being able to do the preparations for the surprise proposal amid all of that.
She then exclaimed how she didn't have any clue about the proposal at all, and although she received, "Congratulations," from the hotel's staff, she didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it was a common greeting from Japanese.

In the video she released, Mimi entered a room decorated full of flowers as soon as she entered the accommodation. Thunder then read a heartfelt letter.
Mimi then drew laughter when she opened the ring box and put it on herself, forgetting to wait for the male idol as she had already bursted into tears.
Thunder Shares Marriage Proposal Letter for Mimi on Instagram
Following the video, Thunder also shared the letter he prepared for Mimi along with photos from the surprise event.
On Instagram, he addressed the letter to, "Mimi, the one I love the most in the world," and wrote:
"Hi, Mimi. It's your oppa. I prepared a surprise proposal. I've been planning, preparing as well and thinking a lot about it, but I was so excited and in love.
Like my first confession that was a bit rushed, maybe this proposal is not much different from that time.
But I'm more excited now than then, and as time goes by, I fall in love even more deeply that I want to get married as soon as possible.
I'm still worried that I may have proposed in a hurry without any preparation, I wanted to make a perfect proposal but I'm not sure how it will turn out. I'm a little nervous because Mimi seems to have noticed.
Anyway, Mimi, when I'm with Mimi, my boring life everyday life becomes happiness. Things that are normal become special, and I am confident that with her, I can overcome hardships with ease.
I want to keep listening to Mimi's voice, laughing every moment by meeting Mimi eye to eye. I want to share my heart and grow old together.
