EXO Lay Reportedly Seen At Hotel With Popular Chinese Actress — Male Idol Responds To Speculation

On January 31, 2024, Chinese media outlets reported that EXO Lay's and Zhao Lusi's cars were parked at the same hotel. It was also alleged that the two top celebrities were seen leaving the hotel only ten minutes apart.

Because of this, the two were quickly embroiled in dating rumors. Their names quickly shot up the list of trending search terms on Weibo, China's biggest social media platform.

Lay is currently 32 years old, while Zhao Lusi is 25 years old.

On February 1, 2024, Chinese media outlet Sohu released a statement from Lay's agency, Zhang Yixing Studio. The label quickly shut down the rumors and stressed that Lay has no plans of getting into a romantic relationship. Sohu also noted that Lay and Zhao Lusi have never worked together, meaning it is highly unlikely they have a romantic relationship.

Zhang Yixing's studio reads,

"The dating allegations involving Lay are just rumors. He is focused on his promotions. Additionally, he has no plans of dating."

Lay debuted as a member of EXO in 2012. In 2022, Lay left SM Entertainment following the expiration of his ten-year contract but continues to be a member of EXO.

Meanwhile, Zhao Lusi debuted in the industry in 2016 and has since risen to be one of China's top actresses.
