Earlier on March 30 to 31, the KCON Hong Kong 2024 occurred at the AsiaWorld-Expo, and featured a star-studded lineup. This includes acts such as VIVIZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, aespa, ATEEZ, ZEROBASEONE, DAY6, Choi Yena, HIGHLIGHT, and many more.

In the case of ZEROBASEONE, the project group made headlines for their captivating performances and showmanship.

However, they managed to steal most of the spotlight across social media for covering Wanna One's iconic debut song "Energetic."

The song "Energetic" was a fan favorite back in the third-gen, and seeing ZEROBASEONE do justice to the track's pompous vibe, the K-pop community dished out their thoughts online. The performance reached a forum, where netizens discussed the group's stage.

In the post, the author uploaded a Tweet from X (Twitter), which showed ZEROBASEONE sparking loud cheers among the crowd for their cover.

K-netz in the comments section praised ZEROBASEONE for matching the vibrant vigor of "Energetic" and expressed how much the group matched the song. They also conveyed how amazed they were with the chants, while some voiced out how much they miss Wanna One.
