In a heartening turn of events for fans worldwide, Soyeon, the multi-talented leader of (G)I-DLE, took to her social media platforms on June 3 to announce her return to activities.
The announcement came as a relief to Neverlands, the devoted fans of the group, who had been anxiously awaiting news regarding Soyeon's health and well-being.
The 23-year-old idol, known for her powerful stage presence and exceptional musical prowess, reassured fans with a simple yet impactful message:
"Neverland, the weather is nice today. I'm out for a schedule. Don't worry about me anymore and have a happy day."
The direct communication with fans provided much-needed assurance and signaled her readiness to resume her responsibilities within the group.
Soyeon's hiatus from scheduled appearances was prompted by health concerns that led her to miss the YIZHIYU & (G)I-DLE offline fan signing event and special fan event slated for June 1st.
Cube Entertainment, the agency representing (G)I-DLE, had previously issued a statement addressing Soyeon's health issues.
"Soyeon recently visited the hospital due to health issues and received medical advice that sufficient rest and stability are necessary. In consideration of the artist's health, we have decided to temporarily suspend all schedules to allow the artist to focus on rest and treatment."
