Arno, a member of the upcoming K-pop group Alpha Drive One, has sustained a bone fracture in an accident just days before the group's debut album release, forcing him to limit his participation in promotional activities.

Wake One Entertainment announced on Jan. 10 that Arno was diagnosed with a fracture after he slipped and fell on a set of stairs on Jan. 7. The incident occurred shortly after he finished official schedules in preparation for the group's debut.

Following a hospital visit and medical examination, doctors advised him to refrain from rigorous physical activities such as dancing temporarily.

The injury comes at a critical time for Alpha Drive One, which is scheduled to release its first mini album, Euphoria, on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. KST, according to allkpop. The group, formed through the Mnet survival competition show "Boys II Planet," will also hold their debut show titled "The First Alarm" on the same date, broadcast simultaneously on Mnet, M2 YouTube Channel, and Mnet Plus.

Despite the setback, Arno expressed his strong desire to meet fans and will participate selectively in official promotions that do not require stage performances. Wake One Entertainment stated that both the artist and the company find the situation unfortunate, but they will prioritize Arno's safety and recovery above all else. The agency added that they will provide additional updates on his treatment progress and future activities accordingly.

Arno, who competed on "Boys II Planet" under his given name Zhang Jiahao, finished in fifth place overall and secured his spot in the eight-member group, chosun reported. The other members of Alpha Drive One include Rio, Junseo, Gunwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Ansheen, and Sanghyeon.

The group's debut album Euphoria will feature the title track "Freak Alarm" and other songs, including "Formula," which was previewed at the 2025 MAMA Awards. The debut show will showcase the group's first-ever stage performances and include special segments with the official fandom ALLYZ.

Wake One Entertainment asked fans for their understanding and encouragement as Arno focuses on recovery in a comfortable environment. The agency confirmed that the artist is currently receiving necessary medical treatment according to professional medical advice, as per Soompi.
