Big Ocean, the world's first deaf K-pop idol group, will release its third EP, The Greatest Battle, on March 3, marking the start of a new chapter in its fast-rising career.

Parastar Entertainment announced that Big Ocean's new EP will drop on Mar. 3 at 6 p.m. Korea time, confirming the group's first physical release of 2026. The agency shared the news through Korean media and the group's official social media accounts, along with the EP title and a teaser cover image.

A promotion scheduler shows that the track list will be revealed on Feb. 9, followed by concept photos and other teasers leading up to release day. "The Greatest Battle" is described as the group's third mini-album, following their previous projects "Follow" and "Underwater," according to Korea JoongAng Daily.

Big Ocean consists of three members, Kim Ji-seok, PJ, and Lee Chan-yeon, all of whom are deaf or hard of hearing and perform using a mix of sound, vibration, and sign language.

Formed under Parastar Entertainment, an agency that supports artists with disabilities, the group debuted on Apr. 20, 202,4 with the digital single "Glow," timed with South Korea's Day of Persons with Disabilities. Their debut and subsequent releases have drawn global attention for bringing Deaf culture to the K-pop scene and challenging stereotypes about disability and performance.

Ahead of the EP, Big Ocean also unveiled a refreshed logo and symbol that highlight their identity and journey. The new emblem features the group's name and debut year arranged in a design reminiscent of ocean waves, signaling a "new era" for the trio. The visual update will be used throughout the "The Greatest Battle" promotion, from album packaging to stage visuals and online content, chosun reported.

The comeback comes after a busy 2025, when Big Ocean completed two European tours and one U.S. tour, performing songs from their earlier EPs and connecting with fans across continents.

The group is set to build on that momentum this year, with plans to visit 12 U.S. cities in March and six European cities in April as part of their new tour. Through "The Greatest Battle" and their upcoming shows, Big Ocean aims to expand its global presence while continuing to advocate for accessibility and inclusion in K-pop, as per the South China Morning Post.
