CORTIS will make their first comeback on May 4 with their second mini album "Greengreen," after pre-releasing the lead single on Apr. 20 at 6 p.m. KST.
BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that boy group CORTIS will drop "The 2nd EP [GREENGREEN]" on Monday, May 4.
The digital release of the title track is scheduled two weeks earlier, on Monday, April 20, at 6 p.m. KST. The group announced the news through fan platform Weverse on March 6, asking fans to mark their calendars for the comeback.
The release marks CORTIS's first new record about eight months after their debut mini album "Color Outside The Lines." The group's second EP is also referred to as "Greengreen" or "GREENGREEN" in official notices, according to allkpop.
The title track from "Greengreen" will be pre-released as a digital single to build early momentum for the comeback. The song will go live on April 20 at 6 p.m. KST, giving listeners a preview of the group's new sound before the full album arrives. Korean media describe this strategy as a way to "ignite" anticipation ahead of the May album launch.
The EP is expected to include "YOUNGCREATORCREW," a track first unveiled during CORTIS's appearance at the "NBA Crossover Concert Series" and in the "Hancom Taja Sanseongbi" game. Clips of the song and its choreography have already generated thousands of short-form videos on TikTok, signaling strong fan interest, chosun reported.
CORTIS is a five-member group under BIGHIT MUSIC, made up of Martin, James, Joo-hoon, Seong-hyun, and Geon-ho.
The group debuted with the mini album "Color Outside The Lines," which reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200, the highest ranking for a debut album by a non-project K-pop group. The record has sold over 2 million copies according to the Circle chart, underlining the rookie group's rapid growth.
Tracks like "GO!," "What You Want" and "FaSHioN" helped CORTIS pass 400 million cumulative streams on Spotify within five months of release. With "Greengreen," industry watchers expect the group to aim for an even bigger global impact in 2026, as per the Korea Herald.
