EXO First Act To Join Lineup For K-Con 2013 - Tickets On Sale July 15!

Preparations for this year's KCON in Los Angeles are well under way, and today EXO was announced as the first artist to join the lineup for the convention's finale event, an episode taping of M Countdown!

KCON is the premiere K-Pop event in North America, the first and largest convention based on Korean music, pop culture and media.

Six artists total are planned to headline the concert that will round out KCON 2013, and EXO has been revealed as the first confirmed act.

"EXO is dominating the K-Pop landscape right now and since EXO-M performed at last year's KCON, fans have been clamoring for more EXO at KCON 2013," said Ted Kim, president and CEO of Mnet America. "Both EXO and KCON are growing in popularity, and it is only fitting that we are able to bring all 12 members of the band to America and give fans what they want."

The remaining five groups will be named within the week over various social media platforms.

The M Countdown taping will be held August 25 at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena with tickets going on sale July 15.

The tickets will range in price from $60 to $300 with varying admittance to the concert, convention floor, and VIP areas.

Aside from the star-studded show to wrap up this year's KCON, fans will have opportunities to participate in panel discussions, question-and-answer segments, and autograph sessions with their favorite stars.

For more information regarding ticketing and events, visit the KCON official website or follow the organizers on social media (@kconusa or on Facebook).
