The Queens Zoo, host to the tiny pudu deer, says the yet-unnamed doe is adjusting well....and will soon jump and leap to cute-overload glory.

"She's adjusting really well," said Barbara Russo, a spokeswoman for the Wildlife Conservation Society, which runs the Queens zoo. "She's very cute and still nursing. She will eventually transition to solid foods."

The baby pudu shares the exhibit with mom Josephine and dad Hamilton. They're all kicking it in the Queens Zoo together.

The pudu deer only weighed one pound when it was born. As an adult, however, it will weigh 20 pounds.

When full grown, the pudu deer will measure 12 to 14 inches at the shoulder, zoo officials told press.

The pudu is the world's smallest deer and found in Argentina and Chile. The new pudu deer was born a long way away from its ancestral homeland, but it is expected to fare very well.
