Singer No Min Woo's new song, "Rockstar" ranked number 1 on the Japan Tower Records chart.

Last month, he released his first Japan single album, ICONIC OH DISCO ROCKSTAR, and ranked number 1 at the Tower Records Osaka store for their offline album sales chart.

This album also ranked number 1 on the Korean album sales chart Hot Tracks as well and proved his popularity in Asia.

It also gained much attention as it was a rare sight to see a more low key idol singer make it to the number 1 spot.

No Min Woo had already started band promotions in Japan 3 years ago and has already gained much popularity in Japan.

Back in May, he also held a 'Rockstar' showcase in Seoul and had fans from all over the world attend his show.

He will be holding a 'ROCKSTAR-NOMINWOO Fan club Open Anniversary LIVE & TALK' in Tokyo on August 9.
