K-pop Idols Who Once Rocked Cornrows

Until my dying day, I will never understand why any K-pop idol in their sane mind, would walk around with a set of cornrows braided into their head. It makes an entirely no sense to me and if they knew what they looked like to the outside world ,they would personally request for a an electric razor and shave it all off. K-pop male idols look best when their styles are either long and straight or slicked back and classy. Let's take a look at some of the worst cornrow looks in the history of Korean pop culture. God be with you all.

When I first landed on this image of Shinhwa's Eric wearing cornrows in his head, I didn't know whether to cry or close my computer screen-I ended up doing both. First of all, Eric just doesn't have the hip-hop swag nor the facial features to ever rock this kind of hair-do so who suggested to him this would be a good idea? Have you ever seen what this man looks like in a suit with a slicked back look? He looks like a Korean gangster and since we have seen him looking immensely fly, he should therefore avoid ever rocking cornrows again.

MBLAQ's Lee Joon is a likeable cutie pie with charisma and talent. Slap on cornrows on this man's head and you've got a wannabe thug that looks like he lost a bet and therefore was forced to dress like this:

I have said this about Taeyang's cornrows a million times and I will say it again-Taeyang in cornrows should be considered one of the seven deadly sins.

SHINee's Taemin is the last person before 2AM's JoKwon that should ever have cornrows in his head. Seeing him in this hair-do feels almost inappropriate and takes away from the child-like innocence he possess.

G-Dragon is the only idol that is allowed to wear cornrows and that is solely because his swag is off the charts and he is allowed to wear anything and everything he pleases. He constantly pushes the barriers of what is considered the norm and for that he is granted this privilege.

Kim Heechul, what is this?
