Group 2NE1's new song, "Falling in Love" has been receiving a positive response from the media and has also been chosen as the 'Song of the Summer' by MTV IGGY.

On July 22, MTV revealed that "Falling in Love" has been chosen as the 'Song of the Summer'. 2NE1 has also been chosen as 'Best New Band in the World' in 2011 as well.

MTV also stated that "Falling in Love" had a reggae hip-hop feel that was great for the summertime.

U.S. Spin also stated that this song is a fresh new song and gave the song a positive response.

On July 9, MTV online also reported that they were glad to see 2NE1 back with a new and fresh genre for their comeback. U.S. Spin also stated that their new song was "Pretty great."

2NE1 will be releasing new songs every month until October and has gained many people's attention.

YG has stated that their next song will be one to push away the summer heat and give of a cool vibe.
