Being cast for a role in your first movie may may seem like an easy task when your mother is the director, but getting cut might come as a surprise!

That is exactly what happened to Lourdes Ciccone, Madonna's daughter, in the film W.E.

"Ruthless, I know. I said, 'Sorry babe, you're on the cutting room floor,' Madonna told MTV on Tuesday. "She took it like a champ."  
Ciccone portrayed a young Wallis Simpson in the film. 

 "I just kind of dragged her in at the last minute," Madonna said. "It was quite unfair of me what I did and what I asked her to do."  

W.E. will hit theaters this Friday and Madonna will perform at the halftime show for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
