Crayon Pop took the number 1 spot on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" and claims they kept their promise to the fans.

For the first time since their debut, Crayon Pop has taken the number 1 spot on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank." They said they did keep their helmet promise, but that it wasn't aired on the August 30 episode.

In an interview following their "Music Bank" filming, Crayon Pop said, "We were so flabbergasted and for a moment we forgot to take off our helmets. When we finally remembered, we took off our helmets, but at that moment the broadcast switched to commercials. But we did keep our promise. Although it wasn't shown on television, fans present at the scene saw us."

In this broadcast, Crayon Pop won the number 1 spot with their song "Bar Bar Bar," which was released in June. Although they've gotten nominated for the number 1 spot on other music programs, this was their first time winning.

Gummi revealed, "Even after they announced the number 1 winner, I kept staring into the monitor. Even now I can't believe we won, and still am kind of stunned. Since we've been awarded such a great honor, we will do our best to not lose our focus and keep working hard. This is just the beginning."

She continued, "We especially had a lot of fans present. After each show, we hold a handshaking session, and this day was no different. Everyone was so happy for us and kept congratulating us. There were fans that were crying with us, and fans that said we had done a great job. Since these fans have been through a lot by our side, it meant a lot more to us," and expressed her gratitude towards the fans.

Ellin said, "It came as a big surprise because I wasn't expecting it. I kept asking the other members, 'We're number 1?' We started off with street performances and have ended up at the number 1 spot. Our goal has been to perform the ending stage, and it seems as if we've fulfilled our goal tonight at 'Music Bank.' We've received so much, and are very happy."

Way said, "We have an upcoming concert scheduled, and another thing to attend in the morning, so we won't be able to go out and celebrate tonight. I hope that we could get together with our agency family and members later to eat some delicious beef and have a great time altogether."

To wrap it up, Crayon Pop said, "We won't lose our focus, and work even harder to become an entertainment group that you can all cheer and love. We're planning to release a new song in September or early October, and will show you a song with our unique color" and ended the night.
