Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast officially announced: Dakota Johnson accepts offer to play Ana Steele while Charlie Hunnam to play Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the highly anticipated SN&N couple.

Rumors have swirled from dozens and dozens of actors and actresses to play these two lead roles in the movie after so many read the successful Fifty Shades of Grey book. Now that the cast for these two characters is set, fans can use their imagination of Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam together in the bedroom.

Author E.L. James announced the news on Monday morning with a few tweets. She started with Dakota Johnson, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.

"I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey," the first tweet said, ending months of breathless speculation.

Johnson had roles in "The Social Network" and "21 Jump Street," but this could be her biggest role as a main star as a part of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast.

Distributor Focus Features confirmed it shortly thereafter.

Moments later James wrote, "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

Hunnam's most notable role has been on the hit FX show, "Sons of Anarchy." He is the protagonist and the President of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club's Redwood Original (SAMCRO) chapter based in Charming, Calif.

For the Fifty Shades of Grey characters in the movie, Charlie Hunnam would have play someone with a kinky side that has helped the book become a best-seller. Dakota Johnson would have to play the role of a college student that has to interview the sexy billionaire, which leads to a kinky relationship between the two.
