Block B is back... finally!

After months of legal battles, it looked as if all hope was lost for the seven-member boy group. That is, until late last month when the group announced they had departed from their former label Stardom Entertainment and had signed with the newly formed agency Seven Seasons.

Ahead of their new album release on October 2, the group dropped their new single "Be the Light" today - a very lovely gift for their fans who have had to wait far too long for new music from Block B.

Block B's rapping mastermind Zico is completely responsible for the new track. He wrote, composed, arranged, and even produced "Be the Light" and the upbeat tune is the perfect welcome back for the group.

"I put myself in the place of the people who I'm always thankful for when I wrote this song," Zico tweeted about the new single.

While the song differs greatly from Block B's dynamic hip-hop dance tunes, it is a sincere and honest comeback for the members whose vocals shine in the lyrical delivery.

The accompanying music video is a nice balance between hard and soft and shows a new, matured front for Block B and has fans pumped for the full album release in a week and a half.
