YG New Girl Group [UPDATE]: Jennie Kim The YG Princess? G-Dragon Collab, But Will They Really Debut This Month?

YG is famous for delaying comebacks and debuts, but that doesn't mean the new girl group is completely out of the spotlight.

Recently, YG trainee Jennie Kim has been heating up the stage with G-Dragon during his promotion for the single "Black."

You can check out some of the performance of the rumored YG girl group member below:

G-Dragon, who was once rumored to be the primary producer for the new YG girl group, even posted a photo with Jennie, to show their camaraderie.

"Seems like Jennie Kim grabbed the role of YG Princess," says one netizen according to Allkpop.

"I just hope that she is what YG is trying to feed us. And meet the expectations of the people and prove to the haters that she deserves every special thing she had received from the company," says xxchoijiyon21.

"It must've been hard for her to get a lot of hate even before her debut in a girl group. So fighting!!"

Nevertheless, Jennie Kim has received some backlash in part due to the delay of the YG girl group, and many fans speculate it is due to internal conflicts between the girls.

In June, Yang Hyun Suk as quoted to promise that the new girl group will debut in October, but with many YG acts busy promoting or attempting to schedule a comeback (2NE1), this seems unlikely.

As YG fans know, 2NE1 is currently experiencing a delay in promotion after failing to release a single in September, as promised.

Will you be excited when the new YG girl group debuts? Or has your patience run out in anticipation.
