Hot Indian actress Frieda Pinto does a stripper act in Bruno Mars' new video for song Gorilla. The Indian actress who shot to fame with Slumdog Millionaire donned a new avatar - stripping, pole dancing and teasing the singer with her moves.

Gorilla is  part of the album Unorthodox Jukebox. The video features Frieda Pinto as Isabella, a stripper in the club who has an affair with the band leader, played by Bruno Mars. 

Actor Luis Gozman does a cameo as the emcee of the club, who introduces Frieda as 'the new girl in town' at the start of the video.

The 28 year old actress, native of Mumbai, stays in Hollywood. The seductive moves, sliding the pole and the split are followed by a steamy kiss with the music sensation Bruno Mars in the back of the car. The video ends with Frieda putting the guitar on fire, which set off the sprinklers, drenching Isabella (Frieda) with tequila.

Frieda's act is in sync with trend of racy and risqué music videos. The Trishna actress captured eyeballs with her bold act, without revealing as much as the twerking Miley Cyrus in Wrecking Ball or Rihanna in Pour it Up.

Back home in India, the music video and the raunchy performance of Frieda has evoked mixed reactions. On one hand, a section of her fans has applauded her daring image change, calling her hot, bold and beautiful.

On the other hand, there are people who have expressed dismay over the image change, which is considered too risqué for Indian sensibilities and culture.

"Steaming hot @BecauseImFreida is a stripper in this video, but how will she show it to her family?" tweeted Aseem Chabra, Indian.

Her Public Relations firm released a press note that said, 'when she was approached with this opportunity, she knew that this would be a reincarnation of sorts for her and she was quite thrilled to do it, being the risk taker that she is.'
