In a recent interview, Union J's singer George Shelley explains why he has never called Selena Gomez. He likewise adds that Gomez is one of the "classiest girls" that he know.

As Justin Bieber busies himself by singing sweet songs that seemingly pertain to Gomez, the 'Wizards of Waverly' actress continues to be the subject of Shelley's undying admiration.

"Selena's one of the classiest girls I've ever met and I love class in girls. She's a superstar, she's very busy and we're just starting out. It's a very tough situation. But she's very lovely," gushes Shelley in an interview with Now Magazine.

The singer has similarly talked about his group date with the 'Come and Get It' singer. As opposed to what recent reports have claimed, he claimed that nothing too intimate happened between him and Bieber's ex-girlfriend:
"Nothing. We just chatted - all of us were there. It was lovely of her to invite us back to her place, but it was a private thing. We were a bit shocked it got into the papers. It highlighted the fact that you don't know who to trust. I let her know the story was out and that I was shocked. It's all about having respect for yourself and the other person. It's nice to have some parts of your life private."

However, Shelley has yet to make a move if he is serious with the 'Who Says' hit maker. In an interview with Capital FM Radio, Gomez quipped that the Union J member never called him: "I'm very offended that George didn't call me. I'm offended, I'm actually offended. I was like, 'Come on!'"

Gomez ended her four-year relationship with Bieber this year after cheating allegations.
