Will Norazo's 'Wild Horse' Be K-Pop's Next Big Viral Hit?

In 2012 Psy released "Gangnam Style" and the internet would never be the same again. It was the first K-Pop song to gain widespread international attention and became the most popular YouTube video of all time.

Quirky girl group Crayon Pop were the next Korean stars to gain widespread notoriety when they released "Bar Bar Bar" in June of this year. Complete with a bizarre music video and fun yet easy-to-imitate choreography, "Bar Bar Bar" was K-Pop's next viral hit.

Now it would appear that pop-dance duo Norazo are on their way to being the internet's next K-Pop sensation with their latest song "Wild Horse."

The new single dropped on November 12 and while it only has about 46,000 views as of midnight on November 20, all across the internet people are talking about Norazo's "Wild Horse" and sharing it with their friends.

"Wild Horse" has all the makings of a viral K-Pop hit - a crazy music video, goofy yet easy to master dance moves, and a catchy beat. Most of all, it is something we have never seen before and can't seem to stop watching.

Norazo's latest release has them galloping around the South Korean countryside as centaurs performing what appears to be a more developed version of Psy's horse dance mixed with elements of the Macarena.

The song itself contains rock guitar riffs and repetitive lyrics that get stuck in your head. Before you know it, you're mimicking the hook's galloping sounds and wishing centaurs were real.

The popularity of the "Wild Horse" video is definitely bubbling and Norazo may be on their way to global recognition.

After all, they are already popular back home.

Signed to Korean entertainment company Winning InSight, JoBin and Lee Hyuk made their debut in 2005 as Norazo a comedic K-Pop duo rising to fame for their unique and catchy songs.

To date, the pair has released five studio albums, a dozen or so digital singles and have had many of their songs covered by other famous acts in South Korea.

In particular, their 2008 hit song "Superman" has been performed by an incredible number of idol singers, hip-hop artists, and others.

Norazo's latest single "Wild Horse" may be just what they need to extend their popularity overseas, or at the very least make them 'internet famous.'
