Manny Pacquiao Next Fight: Trainer Freddie Roach Wants Juan Marquez – ‘I'd Like To Shut Him Up’; Filipino Boxer Set To Fight Again On April

Manny Pacquiao Next Fight: Manny Pacquiao won a unanimous decision against Brandon Rios after a intense and commanding boxing match shown by Pacquiao in Macau last Saturday.

The Filipino fighter fought dedicated his match for his country to not show that he can still fight after a knockout from his last match but to bring glory back to his hometown after a Typhoon hit the country killing thousands of people and destroying a lot of houses.

"This is not about my comeback," Pacquiao said.

"We will rise again," he said. "This fight is for you and all the people affected by the typhoon. It was very difficult for me (to concentrate on the fight). I was just praying for them. I sent my people there to help. I promised them I would go there as soon as possible."

Brandon Rios boasting after the match even though bruised in his head insisted that he never got hurt but mentioned that Pacquiao's punches were really fast which caught him.

"What got me was just the speed and his awkwardness," Rios said. "He never hurt me at all, and I never got stunned at all, but the quickness just caught me off guard."

After seeing Manny as the peaking boxer he has been before getting two straight losses fight like before, the talks go around for a Manny Pacquiao next fight.

The governor-slash-boxer's promoter Bob Arum has announced a Manny Pacquiao next fight to happen early 2014.

Talks for his next fight is centered around the undefeated Floyd Mayweather, which analysts say if a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight happens it will surely be the match of the century.

"It's a fight that should happen - and where there's a will, there is a way," Arum said.

Though, saying that Floyd is a tough competitor, Pacquiao coach Freddie Roach is still confident that his boxer can win that match if it will be the Manny Pacquiao next fight.

"Obviously, Mayweather is very good at what he does. I'm not saying that would be an easy fight. We'd have to come up with a great game plan. We'd have to really stick to it to win that fight. He has some flaws. Nobody is perfect out there. If we could draw those flaws out and take advantage of them, we'd be in a good spot. I still pick Manny to win that fight."

Manny on the other hand said whoever his promoter gives him to fight against he is willing as long as he fights.

"My job is to fight," Pacquiao said after his win in Macau. "I am willing to fight Floyd. So it's up to him."

Freddie Roach, meanwhile, wishes for his fighter to fight Juan Marquez since he believes that his fighter can win against the Mexican boxer.

"He (Pacquiao) knows the biggest thing he can do for his people is to win fights and look good. And that's what he did," the coach said regarding a Manny Pacquiao next fight. "Marquez is the one fight I want. I'd like to shut him up."
