Serena Williams Boyfriend 2013: Patrick Mouratoglou’s Career Boosted By Girlfriend? Analysis Suggests She Has Done ‘More To Elevate Her Coach's Career’

Serena Williams's coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou has received a plethora of attention since her tennis career continued skyrocketing, but one analyst suggests she improved his career more than he has for her.

"Unlike her opponents, Williams has probably done more to elevate her coach's career than he has hers," BleacherReport.com reports.

"No wonder several top challengers have hired new coaches. Williams' dominance has sparked a rash of coaching changes."

Patrick Mouratoglou posted a Facebook photo of himself and rumored girlfriend Serena Williams during one of Venus' matches earlier in the year while the American tennis star posted photos of herself vacationing in Jamaica with her family.

"In Toronto in 2013 with @serenawilliams watching Venus' match," the caption of his photo read.

Serena Williams posted a "selfie" photo on the same day of her vacation in Jamaica with relatives. In another post, she asks her Twitter fans "Question- How old does my nephew look??"

Serena Williams found help while she was struggling with her tennis career last year after she hired coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou, CNN's Open Court reports, leaving many wondering if the Paris native salvaged her career.

"What surprised me at that point was the motivation she had," Patrick Mouratoglou told CNN Open Court.

"She really was prepared to do anything to come back to the top. Her motivation was at the highest point, maybe, and it was very surprising for someone who had won so much, with such a career record and at that age."

The partnership restored her career as the preeminent female player of her generation and the results speak for themselves, the website added.
