Taylor Swift did not look intimidated when she met Prince William at the Winter Whites Gala charity dinner at Kensington Palace.

The dinner was  held with the aspiration of raising money for Centrepoint, one of the charities the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge support. Centrepoint is an organization which provides housing and financial support to young homeless people in the United Kingdom.

The 23-year-old pop singer attended the Doctor Zhivago-inspired affair. The grounds of the palace have been transformed to resemble a winter wonderland. She arrived clad in a white skirt and a gold laced bodice with a plunging neckline. Her hair, which was tied up in a chignon style, was apt with the royal event.

Even if Catherine Middleton was absent from the event, Prince William did his best to entertain their guests from different levels of the society.

The ' I Knew You Were Trouble' hit maker likewise recalled her meeting with the prince: "He's very funny. Really cool. It's awesome because when you see someone from afar and you respect the way they carry themselves and then you find out that they're funny. That's a whole,cool, different, exciting realisation. I really respect Prince William."

Apart from praising the prince, Swift is likewise impressed with the mission of Centrepoint: "All the aspects of tonight seemed wonderful to me. The fact that this is highlighting a charity that focuses on teens from 16 to their mid 20's who are homeless. I think that is an amazing thing to draw focus on and attention to." 

After bagging four coveted awards at the American Music Awards 2013 in Los Angeles, California, Swift went straight to the palace to render a performance for more than 200 guests. Other singers who have been tapped to perform in the gala included James Blunt, Eliza Doolittle, and Jon Bon Jovi who is reportedly Prince William's favorite rocker. At one point, Prince William joined Bon Jovi and Swift onstage to belt out 'Living On a Prayer'.
