Anchorman 2 Release Date: Will Ferrell, Steve Carrel And Co-Actors Excite Fans With An Earlier Screening Of Movie, Sing Classic ‘Afternoon Delight’ In Premiere

Anchorman 2 Release Date: Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hit Australian theaters in a Sydney premiere.

The official showing of the Will Ferrell, Steve Carrel, David Koechner and Paul Rudd combo is set on December 18, set now in the 80’s in New York in now a 24-hour news cycle movement.

The big gift for Australian fans in the theater was a music number from the news anchors where they sang ‘Afternoon Delight’ in front of many people saying: “Only in this theater, other theaters were not doing this. Only this one.”

Actor David Koechner said in an interview with Rolling Stone that they recorded too much videos that would be fit for two whole movies including a musical number that was said would put ‘Afternoon Delight’ to shame, but wasn’t included in the movie.

"We had such a bounty of riches that it was really difficult to decide what was going to go in this thing," he said. "You know that phrase, 'Sometimes you've got to kill your darlings?' Well, there were a lot of darlings in this one." Koechner added: "We seriously made an effort and lobbied to "Kill Bill" this movie and put it out in two parts, but it just didn't work."

"There's a big musical number that was shot, but it didn't make the movie. It broke my heart," he said about the musical number.

The part one of the Anchorman movie garnered $90.5 million in the box office gathering a lot of fans getting excited for the second movie especially their famous one-liners that proved the movie to be a success.

"I couldn't have told you from that first movie what would become big," Koechner says. "Honestly there's so many lines from that first movie that you don't even realize. . . almost every line is a catchphrase!"
