Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is one of the highly anticipated films coming this 2014. An official trailer has yet to be released but, the fans has just got the first look at Optimus Prime's redesigned robot mode.

But, don't celebrate just yet, because a leaked video might suggest that Transformers 4: Age of Extinction might be Optimus Prime's last movie appearance - meaning he might die on this movie.

The world will have its first look at Optimus Prime new robot image from the January issue of Empire magazine. The brave looking Autobot head is standing behind Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor on the cover of the magazine. The cover also unveils Transformers 4: Age of Extinction's setting: Detroit, Hong Kong and Cybertron.

This will be the first look at Prime in robot mode, nevertheless, Hasbro had previously issued a toy line revealing Optimus Prime earlier this year. On the image was a message by the toy company:

"Here it is--Transformers Generations Leader Scale Optimus Prime, the very first figure revealed from Transformers: Age of Extinction! You can get your hands on him in May 2014."

There was also a trade show decal leaked revealing Autobot leader riding on top of Dinobot Grimlock.

More importantly, a video was leaked previously from the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction set in Hong Kong suggesting that Prime is in a devastating state probably dying in the new sequel. Hollywood Hills was able to translate the video's voiceover, unveiling Prime bidding goodbye to both Mark Wahlberg (Cade) and the rest of the Autobots:

"There remains a price on my head, and I risk endangering you if I stay. Cade when you find the remaining stones, mark one as my soul. Defend this family Autobots, as they have you, goodbye, don't forget me."

During an interview with Beijing News earlier this year Transformers 4: Age of Extinction producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura revealed that both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will be having a major design make over.

"I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the joining of the Dinobots will give the audience new excitement. In addition to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the appearance of these classic roles changed, today the world's coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including China's vehicles, whether you are a car enthusiast, you will feast your eyes and be shocked by them."
