Beyonce was booted from a tour of the Egyptian pyramids years ago for being "rude." According to published reports an infamous archaeologist booted Beyonce from a tour of the Egyptian pyramids.

During Beyonce's "I Am... Tour" in 2009, the "All the Single Ladies" singer swung through Egypt. While she was in the ancient country, she visited with the famous pyramids.

"Egypt's Indiana Jones," Dr. Zahi Hawass, called Beyonce a "stupid person" who was only visiting the historic structures to take pictures but  who "doesn't understand a thing."

Hawass cut Beyonce's visit to the Egyptian pyramids shot.

Speaking about Beyonce's pyramid visit Hawass recently told the Independent "Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady. She said she would come at 3 p.m. but she came late. I said 'You have to say I'm sorry I'm late.' But she didn't open her mouth. I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said 'No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.' I said, 'In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite - out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.' I said Beyonce was stupid and I left."

"Egypt's Indiana Jones" used to be the Egyptian antiquities minister. He has come under a lot of controversy in his tenure as archaeologies. Hawass has been commended for boosting interest in archaeology in the area, but experts have questioned his credibility and his love of publicity.

Hawass was fired as antiquities minister In 2011 for arguments with President Hosni Mubarak's regime.

Hawass was investigated for corruption, wasting public funding and shipping Egyptian antiquities overseas without permission, Smithsonian Magazine reported that Hawass left the antiquities open to theft. Egypt's Indian Jones is also banned from traveling outside of Egypt.
